Johnson K. Fong is a California licensed Certified Public Accountant with over 29 years of public and private accounting, financial and business consulting experience.  His professional career has afforded Mr. Fong an opportunity to engage in a myriad of accounting and financial disciplines that have contributed to his array of skills.  During this tenure, Mr. Fong has also actively volunteered his expertise to a number of community based non-profit organizations as well as professional groups.

After his graduation from the prestigious University of California Berkeley, Haas Business School in 1980, Mr. Fong assumed leadership and management positions with several notable accounting firms and private companies.  For five years, he was involved and managed financial audits and compliance of public, private and governmental agencies for the international accounting offices of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells,(currently, Deloitte & Touche LLP).

From 1985 to 1988, Mr. Fong gained extensive expertise in real estate and construction accounting and capital financing of large construction projects while serving as Controller of Prometheus Development Company.  Here he was instrumental in implementing an accounting and information system, managing over $100 million of residential and commercial real estate projects.

As one of the founding partners of the public accounting firm of Schwartz, McGuire & Company in 1988, Mr. Fong has rendered his services to individuals and various domestic and multinational corporations.  His practice included audit, review and compilation of financial statements of domestic and international companies, tax compliance and preparation, mergers and acquisitions, financial consulting, and equity and debt financing.

In 1998, Mr. Fong was appointed to the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Flour City International, Inc., a NASDAQ listed multinational curtain wall construction company, and in 1999 he took leave from his public accounting responsibilities to serve Flour City as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  In this capacity, Mr. Fong managed the company's finances as well as its construction projects in the United States, Great Britain, China, Hong Kong, Philippines and Thailand.   His many responsibilities included capital fund raising, investor relations and communication, and SEC reporting.

After his tenure with Flour City, Mr. Fong returned to private practice in 2002 where he continues to provide his clients with professional accounting and financial guidance.  His broad knowledge base enables his firm to offer a wealth of specialized services including:

  • Board member of Chrysalis Foundation - a nonprofit organization supporting the creation of new acoustic musical instruments.

Oliver L. Ko, CPA

Oliver L. Ko is a California licensed Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of public accounting experience.  After graduating Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina in 1990, he worked for the “Big 4" accounting firm of PriceWaterhouseCooper where he attained the position of Senior Tax Consultant specializing in international taxation.  In this capacity, Mr. Ko was entrusted to serve high technology clients such as Advanced Micro Devices, Beckman Instruments, Cadence, Connor Peripherals and Cypress Semiconductor. 

In 1997, Mr. Ko started his private practice specializing in a vast array of tax, accounting and financial services.  In addition to offering his clients a traditional menu of accounting, tax preparation, payroll, and financial statement preparation, Mr. Ko's expertise also encompasses personal financial, business, tax and estate planning, budget and forecasting, international tax compliance, and real estate development and construction accounting. 

Because of Mr. Ko's comprehensive skill in the area of international taxes, his firm was contracted by the giant semiconductor manufacturer Intel Corporation to prepare over one thousand tax returns for their executives located throughout the world.
